1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Player Status, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Our platform is a facilitation tool for football recruitment within the UK Football League System. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

2. Eligibility & Conduct

Age: You must be at least 16 years of age to create a profile.
Accuracy: Players must provide truthful physical data and playing history. Misrepresentation of career stats (e.g., goals/previous clubs) may lead to account termination.
Professionalism: Scouts and Coaches must be affiliated with a club or registered agency. We reserve the right to request proof of credentials.

3. Recruitment & National Football Regulations

Player Status is a platform for discovery, not a registered intermediary.

Tapping Up: All users are responsible for complying with National Football Rules and Regulations regarding player approaches.
Approaches: Once a "Handshake" (mutual consent) occurs and contact details are shared, any further negotiations must follow official National Football transfer procedures.
No Guarantees: Player Status does not guarantee trials, contracts, or professional representation.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the media (photos/videos) you upload. However, by uploading content to Player Status, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display this content to other registered users for the purpose of recruitment.

5. Player Data Accuracy & Due Diligence

Player Status is a platform that enables players to self-report their personal details, physical metrics, playing history, performance statistics, and other profile information. Player Status does not independently verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any data submitted by users.

Scouts, recruitment officials, clubs, and any other parties using the platform to evaluate players are solely responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence before making any recruitment decisions. This includes, but is not limited to:

Independently verifying playing history, career statistics, and previous club affiliations.
Conducting in-person trials, assessments, or scouting sessions to evaluate player ability first-hand.
Confirming registration status, eligibility, and any contractual obligations through official channels.
Verifying physical measurements, fitness data, and performance metrics through their own testing procedures.

Player Status accepts no responsibility or liability for any recruitment decisions made based on information displayed on the platform. Any reliance on player-submitted data is entirely at your own risk. We strongly advise that no recruitment, contractual, or financial decision is made solely on the basis of information obtained through Player Status.

6. Limitation of Liability

Player Status is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Injuries sustained during trials arranged via the platform.
Disputes between players, agents, and clubs.
The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any player-submitted data, statistics, highlight reels, or profile information.
Any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from recruitment decisions made using information obtained through the platform.
Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, including but not limited to: harassment of other users, "spamming" club officials, or providing fraudulent data.
